Election of MAG & WAG National Teams Head Coaches

Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation and the Republican High Sports Mastery Gymnastics School held a meeting to elect a new head coach for WAG Team. This position was held by Lyudmila Lee since 2009. Several candidates were nominated at the meeting with participation of coaching staff of the discipline. As a result, the responsibility for the WAG team was assigned to Stella Koshechkina, who is a judge of international category. In addition, the results of training camp in Georgia were analyzed at the meeting. The question of national team formation, which will have to take part in the international competitions of different levels was discussed. It should be noted that a few days earlier the election of the head coach of MAG Team was held. The position was taken by Ravshan Mirzaev, judge of the international category, a member of the technical committee of MAG Asian Gymnastics Union. Ruslan Irgashev was the team' head before Mirzaev. His athlete, Rasuljon Abdurakhimov, became a participant in the Tokyo Olympics.
