We are champions!!!

The national team of Uzbekistan in rhythmic gymnastics became the champion of Asia in the team event. Athletes from 15 states are participating in the continental championship, which is taking place these days in the Thai city of Pattaya. Each country presented the strongest, among those who will compete in licensed tournaments for the Olympic Games in Paris. Following the results of two days of the team tournament, Tahmina Ikromova, Sabina Tashkenbaeva, Yosmina Rakhimova and the team in group exercises: Shakhzoda Ibragimova, Nargiza Dzhumaniyazova, Nilufar Azamova, Mumtoza Iskhokzoda, Khurshida Abduraufova and Maria Pak, headed the podium. In second place is the national team of Kazakhstan and rounded out the top three leaders of the Japanese. Note that Takhmina, Sabina and the group reached the finals in all types of the program. Another medal at the Asian Championships today was won by our juniors: Natalya Usova, Evelina Atalyants, Anastasia Sarantseva and Vilana Savadyan, as well as the group: Domenika Damirova, Victoria Neskubo, Irodakhon Sadikova, Diyora Bakhtiyorova, Mubina Kamolova and Yasmin Amira Mirzayarova. The girls climbed to the second step of the podium. From the bottom of our hearts, we congratulate the Uzbek gymnasts, as well as the coaching staff Lilia Vlasova, Irina Kudryasheva, Rano Mukhamedova, Luiza Ganieva, Nasiba Khalikova, Inara Zabrodina-Sattarova, Elena Samaras, on their success and wish them further success in these competitions.
