"The Grace of Heaven" on the Moscow Floor
Today in Moscow, an experimental international rhythmic gymnastics tournament "The Grace of Heaven" will start. Unique competition will be held by the initiative of the Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva. Their main feature is that participants' performances will be evaluated based on the rules of 2001-2005 and the rules of 2022-2024.
The tournament is aimed not only at the improvement and development of Rhythmic gymnastics as an Olympic sport but also involves exchange of experience between coaches and judges from different schools and countries.
The gymnasts will compete in an all-around program which includes four apparatus exercises - hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon.

The main criteria for the selection of athletes to participate in the tournament were the results of the Olympic Games in 2020. Gymnasts from 15 countries will perform on the floor of "The Grace of Heaven".

The tournament is organized by the Alina Kabaeva Charitable Foundation. Among the honored guests attending the competition will be Olympic champions in rhythmic gymnastics from different years such as Lori Fang - the first Olympic rhythmic gymnastics champion in the history of the Summer Olympics (Los Angeles 1984), Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, Aleksandra Timoshenko, Yulia Barsukova, Alina Kabaeva, Margarita Mamun and Evgeniya Kanayeva.
