Actual issues have been discussed

Тhe Head of the National Olympic Committee Rustam Shaabdurahmanov, and his deputy Sherzod Tashmatov held a meeting with  Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation authorities, coaches, and athletes. In the beginning, the first vice-president of the Federation Ruslan Mustaev submitted a detailed analysis of the results of performances of our gymnasts during the last Olympic cycle, and also their participation in Tokyo-2020. The Chairman of the NOC highlighted the plans for the Asian Games Hangzhou-2022 and the Olympic Games Paris-2024. The Gymnastics federation authorities raised the question of the lack of a sports base for training gymnasts that has become the reason for the perspective sportsmen's leaving the sport. The only facility that met the necessary standards, the Gymnastics Center, was converted into a Covid Center. Now, this center is empty. However, the question of its return to the athletes is still not considered. In addition, the situation with the preparation of the reserve teams looks deplorable. This year the selection of prospective gymnasts for the Olympic Games 2024 was supposed to begin. However,  the lack of conditions to implement the plans becomes the problem.

Another issue, that the members of the gymnastics federation are interested in is the acquisition of the necessary equipment, apparatus, and uniform. The head of the Olympic Committee Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov promised to assist in solving the issues.
