World Cup in ART has started in Doha
Today in Doha, the capital of Qatar, the stage of the World Cup in Artistic Gymnastics, which is a part of a series of international competitions held under the FIG, starts. The program of the tournament includes the performance of gymnasts on individual apparatus: floor exercise, vault, still rings, pommel horse, parallel bars and horizontal bar for men, and floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, and vault for women. At this stage of the World Cup, 30 countries have registered their best gymnasts.
Members of Uzbekistan's national team, including Olympic participants Oksana Chusovitina and Rasuljon Abdurahimov, have been preparing for the event. By the way, Oksana will have to qualify on the vault today. Gulnaz Jumabekova, who will also perform on the same apparatus, will also perform on the uneven bars. Abdulla Azimov will start his competition on March 2 for the men's pommel horse and Khabibullo Ergashev for the men's pommel horse and still rings. The others will qualify tomorrow. Rasuljon Abdurahimov - parallel bars, Utkirbek Juraev - parallel bars and horizontal bar, Khabibullo Ergashev - horizontal bar.
